Ann Victoria Ellwanger  

    My life is devoted to spirituality and creativity.   The art that comes through me is my authentic Self speaking its truth to me.  I am a painter, ceramicist, and enamalist and designer.  Much of my works show a building of layers, texture, color, and movement.  I have been called a color visionary. I paint what my heart is seeing and feeling: the essence of the tree, the flower, the sunset, or life experience.  Joy and passion keep coming through in my work regardless of how I am feeling or what my life circumstances.   I love painting with French dyes on silk resulting in my wearable art scarves.   In '06 I discovered enameling and fell in love with metal and glass.  I am a singer, dancer, drummer, teacher and writer.  I have offered many workshops teaching Healing Illuminating Mandalas and Touch Drawing.  I am living my dream of  free flowing creative expression and showing up each day to let Life live me. 

I opened my own  Gallery in June 2009.  OUT OF MY HANDS GALLERY.   I now show in Mountainsong Galleries on Ocean Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
